01The challenge

Going digital without bringing the red tape along.

Prescriptions, medical certificates and test requests repeat throughout clinical routine. The challenge was to make issuing them faster without giving up the security and validity a digital prescription requires.

The whole platform.

Doctors and dentists create, sign and send prescriptions, medical certificates and test requests. Skyio built the platform end to end, between 2022 and 2023, and delivered it to the client.

03The decision

Prescribing again should not mean starting over.

Prescriptions, certificates and tests that are already part of the routine can be issued again with less friction, reusing what the professional already works with. The point was not to swap paper for a screen, but to make the process genuinely faster.

04The signature

A digital signature only simplifies things if it stays valid.

Document validity depends on the ICP-Brasil signature, so it is part of the main experience, not a later step. Balancing speed of use with a valid signature was one of the product's biggest challenges.

  • The signature at the centerThe ICP-Brasil integration is part of the main flow, because document validity depends on it.
  • Built for recurring issuanceKnown information and flows are reused, cutting the time spent on repeated documents.
  • A test databaseRequests start from a structured database, so the professional does not have to build each one by hand.
